After learning more about the negative effects of alcohol on the body and mind, I have decided to cut alcohol out of my diet, with the exception of one or two drinks on special occasions. What better of a time to share some delicious, healthy mocktail recipes that also promote mental health?

Mocktails are a common beverage for people who don’t drink alcohol, but still enjoy a refreshing, unique beverage. Mocktails are made with healthy, fresh ingredients, which makes them a great option for any occasion. The following mocktails are specifically curated with ingredients that support a healthy body and mind.
Mental Health Mocktail Recipes
The following recipes are easy, quick, and delicious. They each take about 5 minutes to make, and can be modified to suit your taste.
Easy Mojito
This drink is refreshing, and contains plenty of antioxidants. Berries boost brain health and reduce stress, to decrease symptoms of anxiety.
Mojito
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1/4 cup raspberries
- 1/4 lime
- 3 single mint leaves
- 1 can sparkling water
- 2 tsp honey
Instructions
- Place the ingredients in a glass and muddle to combine.1/4 cup blueberries, 1/4 cup raspberries, 3 single mint leaves, 2 tsp honey
- Squeeze 1/4 of a lime into the mixture. (Add lime slices if desired.)1/4 lime
- Top with ice and sparkling water.1 can sparkling water
Black-Out Mocktail
This drink is similar to the taste of red wine (in my opinion). Chamomile and tart cherry juice support rest and relaxation for a better nights sleep.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup tart cherry juice
- 1/2 cup chilled chamomile tea
- 1/4 cup sparkling water
- 1 sprig mint leaves
Instructions
- Combine the cherry juice, chilled tea, sparkling water and mint into a glass.
- Add ice (optional)
Immunity Sunrise
This drink boosts hydration, and tastes delicious. Vitamin C and vitamin B2 support cell repair for a clear mind.

- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 1 splash cranberry juice
Instructions
- Add pineapple juice and coconut water to a glass filled with ice.
- Slowly add cranberry juice to create a sunrise effect.
Coco-Cinnamon Mocktail
The coco-cinnamon mocktail is creamy and sweet. This drink contains vitamin B2, vitamin C, vitamin E, selenium, and zinc. Make sure to mix well, as coconut milk will separate over time. (try light coconut milk for a smoother texture!)

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1 1/4 cup coconut water
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Add the coconut milk to a chilled glass. (mix well)
- Add coconut water.
- Sprinkle cinnamon on top and mix.
