Today is about getting back to the basics.
I know it’s been almost two years since I last posted here—and honestly, that feels wild to say. Life changed, I changed, priorities shifted, and I stepped away without really meaning to.
But lately, I’ve been craving a reset. I’ve felt pulled back to simplicity, wellness, and building a life that actually feels good—and this felt like the right place to start again.

Why I’m Resetting
Since my last post, I’ve gone through more “resets” than I can count. I’d start a new routine or get excited about a new idea, dive all the way in, and actually start seeing progress. Then something would get in the way—or I’d lose momentum—and slowly fall off again. I know a lot of people can probably relate to that cycle.
When I used to write here, everything felt very clean and put together—like there was a perfect, easy way to improve your life and feel your best. And the truth is, sometimes you just don’t feel like you’re living that version of yourself. What started to feel off for me was my routine and my rhythm. Without realizing it, I’d slip on the foundational things—moving my body, journaling, grounding myself, eating well, taking care of myself in the ways that actually matter.
On top of that, navigating your twenties is… a lot. Everything feels loud and heavy at times. There are constant changes, new directions, and this quiet pressure to have it all figured out. I think I put too much pressure on myself to be perfect or to already know the answers.
Right now, what I’m craving is clarity. Structure. Confidence in who I am and what I’m doing. Not a dramatic overhaul—just a steady return to the basics that help me feel grounded and like myself again.
What a Reset Means to Me
For me, a reset doesn’t mean starting over or changing everything at once. It means returning to the basics—the things that ground me and make me feel like myself.
It looks like moving my body regularly, whether that’s walking, running, hiking, or just getting outside. It means taking care of myself in simple, low-maintenance ways instead of chasing perfection. Journaling and taking time to check in with myself again. Eating foods that make me feel energized and supported. Spending time outside whenever I can.
It also means letting go of the pressure to do everything “right.” I’m not trying to build the perfect routine or live some aesthetic version of wellness. I’m focusing on consistency, simplicity, and doing the things that actually make a difference—even when life feels busy.
This reset is about building a rhythm that’s sustainable. One that supports real life, not one that falls apart the moment things get messy.
What This Space Will Be Going Forward
Going forward, this space will be about simple, realistic wellness. Movement that fits into real life. Time outside. Taking care of your body and your mind in ways that feel supportive, not overwhelming.
I want this to be a place for low-maintenance routines, small resets, and reminders that you don’t need to have everything figured out to take care of yourself. Some days that might look like a run or a hike. Other days it might be just slowing down enough to check in.
This won’t be about perfection, extremes, or constant productivity. It’s about building a life that feels grounded, intentional, and actually sustainable—especially during seasons of change.
If any of this resonates, I hope this space feels like a place you can come back to as well. I’m choosing simplicity, consistency, and a slower approach this time—and I’m glad you’re here as I start again at the basics.
